Once you get to the temple, head up to the elevator and ride it down to the ruins area. Just to the west of the entrance is a huge fallen column that leads to the upper level. Climb up and then make your way around the broken edges to the next platform.
Circle around behind the meditating Sith to the far side of the platfrom. looking down you should be able to see a broken archway with the datacron sitting on the near side. Jump down and retrieve it.
